OUR STORY BOUTIQUE HOTEL located in Upper Macasandig, Cagayan de Oro City will be opening soon. Here’s a sneak peak of the newest accommodation facility in the city with the uniquely designed tea cups and cozy rooms that would certainly become part of a story to tell.

The hotel’s facade is distinct from other hotels due to its tea cups.

A new pool amid the backdrop of Sinulom Falls in Tignapoloan, Cagayan de Oro City will be on dry run until Monday, November 30 and set to be opened to the public by mid-December. Entrance is P100 per person for both Sinulom Falls and nearby Bolao Cold Spring. To avoid overcrowding, reservation is necessary. It’s a long weekend and there’s another new overlooking spot at Upper Camarahan, Pagatpat, Cagayan de Oro City which opened today. AIRWINGS PEAK VIEW is still on soft opening and offers yet another option for those who seek a vast nature landscape just minutes from the city proper.

Entrance is P50 for 7 years old and above and some netizens became the first to take selfies at Airwings. Just a precaution, the place is quite sloping so stay safe. Browse over photos below.

Get enchanted with a foggy mountain sanctuary as another eco-tourism site is set to open soon in Gingoog City. NOBSKA BREEZEWAY is located San Isidro, Brgy. Lunotan and offers another alternative site for camping, rest and relaxation for travellers, famiy picnic. retreat, coffee break, selfies and groufies and of course enjoy nature. For 5 days in December (December 16-20), it will be opening its gates to the public for a special charity event to benefit the children of Brgy Lunotan.

GETTING THERE. The landmark is Civoleg Crossing. If you’re coming from Claveria, TURN LEFT at the junction. Nobska Breezeway is approximately 2 kilometers from Route 955 junction on the right side. Veiw map below.

As shown in these photos, the site is enveloped by fog at this time of the year especially from late afternoon towards early dawn the next day.

While Nobska Breezeway (NB) is not yet operational, it will temporarily open its gates for 5 days in December for a cause. For P100 per person, on December 16-20 from 10:00AM to 4:00PM, be enchanted in the foggy sanctuary and at the same time be part of Nobska Sanctuary’s worthy efforts to help the children of Barangay Lunotan with a basket of Christmas treats and school supplies. This will be the first NB charity project. Guests may brign their own food and drinks. Strict health protocols will be implemented.

Minors now allowed in malls but accompanied by parents

Some good news for kids during the holidays. Minors will now be allowed in shopping malls but should be accompanied by their parents. This was announced by Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Eduardo Año during yesterday’s public address by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. Concerned local government units are also expected to pass relevant ordinances on the matter, Año further said.

Persons below 15 years old are currently required to stay at home except when obtaining essential goods and services as per latest IATF guidelines.

CDO shortens curfew hours from 10PM to 4AM; residents aged 15-65 now allowed to go out of their homes

Cagayan de Oro City has shortened its curfew hours now from 10:00pm to 4:00am, having previously been from 9:00pm to 5:00am. City Mayor Oscar Moreno signed Exective Order No. 164 effecting the new curfew period in the city. Meanwhile, persons aged 15 to 65 will now be allowed to go out of their homes for non-essential purposes and shall also be allowed to enter malls and other business establishments by virtue of Executive Order No. 165.

The waterpark management also announced scheduled operations as follows:

A young lady from Misamis Oriental is set to be introduced soon as among the 14 official housemates of Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Connect Edition. “Miss Malakas from Misamis Oriental” passed her medical, psychological, and Covid-19 exams to become a full-fledged PBB housemate. The official launch will be on December 6.

Wearing a face mask and shield to hide her identity, she recently was introduced by PBB hosts Robi Domingo and PBB alumni Gino Roque IV.

Although her real identity has not been revealed, her name has already been circulating in social media particularly in her hometown.

Again, customers need to present upon entry any valid ID with birthdate, and/or barangay exit pass and proper wearing of face mask and face shield.

LGUs still have final decision in allowing minors in malls – Año

Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Eduardo Año clarified that allowing minors in malls still need to have local ordinances passed by the respective local government units (LGUs). This after Health Secretary Francisco Duque III said the Department of Health (DOH) did not agree with the proposal to allow children in shopping malls stating that while they are less vulnerable to coronavirus, they might become carriers and spread it to other members of their families.
